The Story
Matt West is a Los Angeles-born, internationally acclaimed saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ. Widely recognized for his global performances, he seamlessly blends his saxophone skills with DJ sets at major corporate events, luxury yachts, and Formula 1 Grand Prix races around the world.
At age 17, Matt was accepted into prestigious New York City conservatories including Juilliard and The New School, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He built much of his international career while based in Dubai, UAE, and frequently tours across Europe and the Middle East, having performed in over 59 countries from Ibiza to Mykonos.
Along with the saxophone, Matt plays the flute, clarinet, piano, and drums — seamlessly transitioning between live jazz, lounge, and electronic dance music as both a musician and a DJ. He has been flown worldwide to perform for international royalty, prime ministers, diplomats, and VIP corporate events.
